BrookLynk

BrookLynk is a youth employment program based in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Founded as a collaboration between the Cities of Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park, BrookLynk operates as a non-profit organization with a team of 14 employees. The program focuses on connecting young people in the Brooklyns who face barriers to employment with valuable work experience. BrookLynk provides work-readiness training and facilitates paid summer internships with a diverse range of employers, including multinational corporations, small businesses, government agencies, and school districts. Since its inception in 2015, BrookLynk has trained over 400 young people and coordinated nearly 200 paid summer internships. The program is dedicated to addressing regional workforce needs by preparing motivated young people for future careers.
