Brooklyn Academy of Music

The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is a multi-arts center located in Brooklyn, New York. Established in 1861, BAM is the oldest performing arts center in the United States and employs 375 people. The organization generates an annual revenue of $500 million. BAM offers a wide range of programming, including theater, dance, music, opera, film, and more. The center showcases both emerging artists and renowned masters, presenting leading national and international artists in its annual Spring Season. BAM's Next Wave Festival, founded in 1983, highlights groundbreaking contemporary performing arts and is one of the world's most important festivals in its field.
