BPA Business Professionals of America

Business Professionals of America, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering student leaders. With over 45,000 members across chapters in 25 states and Puerto Rico, BPA serves middle, secondary, and post-secondary students. BPA offers programs spanning five career pathways: Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Digital Communication & Design, and Management, Marketing & Communication. These programs aim to enhance student participation in professional, civic, service, and social endeavors, fostering self-improvement, leadership development, professionalism, community service, career development, public relations, student cooperation, and safety and health. One of BPA's flagship programs is the Workplace Skills Assessment Program (WSAP), designed to prepare students for real-world business scenarios. Through WSAP, students demonstrate their skills in finance, management, information technology, and computer applications in competitive events held at regional, state, and national conferences.
