Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles

The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, located in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, is a small museum dedicated to showcasing the history of automotive manufacturing. Founded in 1965 by Paul and Erminie Hafer, the museum houses a collection of automobiles, trucks, and motorcycles from Pennsylvania's early automotive period. The museum's collection features vehicles from the infancy of the American automotive industry, alongside examples of horse-drawn vehicles that were produced in the region prior to the advent of automobiles. Visitors can explore the evolution of transportation through these historically significant vehicles. Housed in the former main building of the Boyertown Auto Body Works, where Paul Hafer spent his 57-year career designing and building truck bodies, the museum offers over 20,000 square feet of display space.
