Boy Scouts of America

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is a non-profit organization based in Irving, Texas. With 7,137 employees, the BSA is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States, serving over 2.4 million youth participants and nearly one million adult volunteers. Founded in 1910, the BSA has a rich history, having trained over 110 million Americans in responsible citizenship, character development, and self-reliance. The BSA offers a variety of programs designed to develop character and leadership skills in young people. These programs include Cub Scouting for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, Scouts BSA for youth ages 11 to 17, Venturing, and Sea Scouting for youth ages 14 to 20. Through participation in outdoor activities, educational programs, and career-oriented initiatives, the BSA aims to instill values such as trustworthiness, good citizenship, and outdoor skills.
