Blue School

Blue School is a nonprofit independent school located in New York City. Founded in 2006, the school serves approximately 300 students each year across pre-primary, primary, and middle school levels. With a team of 70 faculty members and 30 administrators, Blue School operates out of its permanent location at 241 Water Street in Lower Manhattan. Blue School's mission is to reimagine education. The school's curriculum draws inspiration from the fields of education, psychology, design, and neuroscience, fostering a unique and innovative learning environment. Six artists, including the founders of Blue Man Group, established Blue School, bringing their creative expertise to shape the school's vision. Blue School benefits from the guidance of an advisory board comprised of leaders from various fields, including education, psychology, design, and neuroscience, who contribute to the school's ongoing development.
