BKS Iyengar Yoga Association of Northern California

The BKS Iyengar Yoga Association of Northern California is a non-profit organization based in San Francisco, California. The association is comprised of eight employees and generates $20 million in annual revenue. IYANC administers the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco (IYISF), which offers a diverse range of programs for yoga practitioners of all levels. IYISF’s curriculum encompasses both hatha and ashtanga yoga traditions as taught by B.K.S. Iyengar. IYISF has a long-standing reputation for excellence, offering a comprehensive and challenging learning experience for students and teachers. It also boasts a state-accredited Iyengar yoga teacher training program, taught by a highly experienced and diverse faculty. In addition to its training programs, IYISF provides over 45 public classes weekly, workshops, introductory series, lectures, community events, and a retail shop and library.
