Bioscience and Technology Business Center

The Bioscience & Technology Business Center (BTBC) is a partnership between the City of Lawrence, Douglas County, Kansas Department of Commerce, University of Kansas, and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce. Located in Lawrence, Kansas, BTBC supports bioscience and technology industries in northeastern Kansas. BTBC provides tenant companies with modern infrastructure, talent, facilities, and business support services. Their mission is to empower tenant companies to establish and grow successful businesses, ultimately contributing wealth and jobs to the local community. BTBC offers over 85,000 square feet of flexible, customizable office and laboratory space across three facilities, spanning from West Lawrence to Kansas City. BTBC's commitment to tenant success is evident in their fully furnished spaces, allowing companies to begin operations quickly without substantial upfront investment. Additionally, BTBC continually expands resources for both new and existing companies, with plans for an Innovation Research Park that will unite private industry, academia, researchers, and entrepreneurs.
