Belger Arts Center, a non-profit arts organization based in Kansas City, Missouri, is a hub for contemporary art, boasting three distinct locations: Belger Arts Center, Belger Crane Yard Studios, and the Belger Glass Annex. With a team of 3 dedicated employees, the center focuses on fostering artistic exploration and understanding through exhibitions, residencies, and educational programs. The Belger Arts Center, established in 2000, showcases large-scale contemporary art exhibitions curated from the John and Maxine Belger Family Foundation Collection and featuring a diverse range of local, national, and international artists. Belger Crane Yard Studios, opened in 2013, offers studio and exhibition space for artists and provides a platform for ceramics education through its Red Star Residency program and Crane Yard Clay ceramics supply store. The Belger Glass Annex, which debuted in 2021, stands as the first public glassblowing studio of its magnitude in Kansas City. Equipped with state-of-the-art glassblowing equipment, a 300-pound molten glass furnace, and three work stations, the Annex serves as a hub for glass art education, residencies, and demonstrations, solidifying Kansas City's position as a prominent arts destination.
