Established in Oakland, California, the Bay Area Teacher Training Institute (BATTI) is a small organization with a team of 4 employees. BATTI is dedicated to supporting the professional development of educators in the Bay Area. BATTI offers two unique teacher training programs, both designed to be completed in two years. The Master’s of Arts in Education program is geared towards aspiring elementary school teachers, providing opportunities to work as full-time assistant teachers while pursuing their coursework. This program culminates in both a Master of Arts in Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. The Master’s in Educational Leadership program caters to those seeking to advance their careers in educational administration. It provides a tailored curriculum and fieldwork experiences to equip aspiring principals, school heads, and teacher leaders with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles. Upon completion, participants earn a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and an Administrative Services Credential.
