Badgerloop

Badgerloop is a student organization based in Madison, Wisconsin, comprised of 30 members. Founded in 2015, the team represents UW-Madison in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition. Badgerloop's focus is on designing and developing a hyperloop pod prototype. They are actively involved in research and development, collaborating with researchers worldwide and drawing on expertise from both STEM and business majors. The team's achievements include being selected by SpaceX to participate in the first-ever Hyperloop prototype construction as part of the Hyperloop Pod Competition. They will showcase their scaled prototype at the mile-long test track in Hawthorne, California, aiming to demonstrate a fail-safe, passenger-friendly, and scalable design capable of levitating throughout the track's length.
