Austin Classical Guitar (ACG) is a non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas. Founded in 1990 and granted 501(c)3 status in 1996, ACG has grown to become a leading presenter and service organization for classical guitar music in the United States. With a dedicated team of four employees, ACG annually presents nearly 100 concerts featuring renowned international guitarists alongside local and regional talent. ACG's mission extends beyond concerts to encompass a robust education program. ACG Education provides classical guitar instruction to thousands of students across Texas and beyond, establishing classical guitar as a for-credit fine arts course in numerous schools. Recognizing the need for comprehensive teaching resources, ACG developed GuitarCurriculum.com, an online curriculum used by hundreds of teachers worldwide. A key aspect of ACG Education involves supporting teachers through three-day Teacher Training Workshops held in Austin and other locations throughout the United States.
