Augusta County Service Authority

The Augusta County Service Authority (ACSA) is a governmental authority headquartered in Verona, Virginia. Established in 1966, ACSA employs 27 individuals and generates an estimated revenue of $5 million annually. ACSA specializes in providing comprehensive water and sewer services to residents of Augusta County. Their extensive infrastructure includes 11 distinct water systems, featuring seven microfiltration treatment plants, over 417 miles of water mains, and more than 2,030 fire hydrants. Additionally, ACSA manages wastewater collection and conveyance through 232 miles of mains, treating wastewater at four major and five smaller facilities, including the jointly owned Middle River Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. Beyond water and sewer services, ACSA operates the Augusta Regional Landfill, serving Augusta County, the City of Staunton, and the City of Waynesboro.
