Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency, Inc. (ACSS) is a nonprofit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. The organization employs 31 people. ACSS offers three core programs designed to help individuals achieve economic self-sufficiency: CareerWorks, a job readiness training and placement program, and the Veterans Employment Assistance Program, which focuses on helping veterans re-enter the workforce. ACSS was formed through the merger of Samaritan House of Atlanta and Atlanta Enterprise Center, two organizations with similar missions. This merger allows ACSS to work more effectively and efficiently to combat homelessness in Atlanta.
