Association of Northwest Steelheaders

The Association of Northwest Steelheaders is a nonprofit organization based in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1960, the organization has grown to employ six people and generates $2.5 million in annual revenue. The Association of Northwest Steelheaders is dedicated to enhancing and protecting fisheries and their habitats for current and future generations. They achieve this through a variety of programs and services, including advocacy for fish, their habitats, and fishing opportunities at local, state, and federal levels. The organization also focuses on environmental education for youth, anglers, and veterans, as well as protecting public access to waterways. A cornerstone of the Association's work is volunteerism.
