Aspirations Building Campaign

Aspirations Building Campaign (ABC) is a youth-led project based in India. Operating as a small team with 3 employees, ABC is dedicated to promoting book reading and leadership skills among teenagers and youth. ABC's mission is to complement existing education systems by encouraging a love of reading and fostering aspirations in young people. They achieve this through various initiatives, including the ABC Readers program, which boasts over 4,000 participants from diverse regions across India, including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. The organization also runs Leadership Drills, Riveting Readers (online reading clubs), Skills Bank, and LiM (Leaders in Making) to develop well-rounded individuals. A unique aspect of ABC is its terminology. Participants are referred to as "ABC Readers," emphasizing their active engagement in the reading community. ABC's programs are designed to reach both established readers and those new to reading, particularly those from rural areas.
