Artistic Freedom Initiative

Artistic Freedom Initiative is a non-profit organization based in the United States that advocates for artistic freedom and peaceful dialogue through art. The organization is comprised of human rights activists, lawyers, academics, and artists who work together to support artists both domestically and internationally. Artistic Freedom Initiative employs 16 people and generates $2.5 million in annual revenue. Artistic Freedom Initiative offers a variety of services to artists, including pro bono immigration representation for international artists seeking to travel to or emigrate to the United States to pursue their creative endeavors. The organization also works with partner organizations to connect artists with temporary housing and studio space, as well as residency, employment, internship, education, and networking opportunities. Additionally, Artistic Freedom Initiative collaborates with galleries, museums, curators, and collectors to promote the work of immigrant artists. Artistic Freedom Initiative is dedicated to expanding its network of artists and forging new partnerships with residency programs, arts and culture organizations, galleries, museums, and fellow advocates.
