Army Special Operations Aviation Command

The Army Special Operations Aviation Command is a one-star command located in the United States. As a subordinate command of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, ARSOAC employs 23 individuals. ARSOAC specializes in providing aviation support to Special Operations Forces. They organize, train, resource, and equip ARSOA units to execute a variety of complex and sensitive tasks. Recognizing the unique demands of Army Special Operations Aviation, ARSOAC separates the combat role from resourcing responsibilities. This structure ensures the necessary command and control, manning, and visibility for effective support. ARSOAC also serves as the USASOC Aviation staff proponent.
