The American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) is a non-profit organization headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. With a staff of 482 employees, the ALA is dedicated to serving veterans, military personnel, and their families. Through its network of over 600,000 members across the United States, the ALA provides a wide range of services and support. These include volunteering millions of hours annually, raising millions of dollars, and advocating for veterans on Capitol Hill. One of the ALA’s most prominent initiatives is sponsoring ALA Girls Nation, a program that empowers young women through civic leadership.
