Alliance of Motion Pictures Television Producers

The Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers (AMPTP) is a trade association headquartered in Sherman Oaks, California. Founded in 1982, AMPTP represents over 350 motion picture and television producers, encompassing studios, broadcast networks, cable networks, and independent producers. AMPTP's primary role is negotiating industry-wide collective bargaining agreements. These agreements encompass contracts with various guilds and unions, including the American Federation of Musicians, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, Directors Guild of America, International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Laborers Local 724, Screen Actors Guild, Teamsters Local 399, and Writers Guild of America. As the entertainment industry's official collective bargaining representative, AMPTP negotiates approximately 80 collective bargaining agreements, ensuring fair and mutually beneficial agreements between producers and labor unions. Carol Lombardini serves as the President of AMPTP.
