Aliento

Aliento is a community organization based in Phoenix, Arizona. It is a youth-led group composed of DACA recipients, undocumented individuals, and their allies. With a workforce of 90 employees, Aliento is dedicated to supporting the well-being, emotional healing, and leadership development of those affected by the challenges of lacking legal immigration status. Aliento focuses on empowering individuals within the immigrant community through its various programs and initiatives. The organization provides a platform for these individuals to share their experiences, build resilience, and advocate for their rights. Aliento distinguishes itself through its direct involvement of those it serves. Composed of individuals with firsthand experience navigating the complexities of immigration issues, the organization offers a unique understanding and sensitivity to the needs of its community.
