Aisling Irish Community Center

Aisling Irish Community Center is a non-profit organization located in Yonkers, New York. With four employees, the center boasts a strong presence in the local community, serving a diverse range of individuals and families. The Aisling Irish Community Center offers a wide array of programs and services designed to cater to various age groups and interests. These include infant and toddler music and playgroups, art, karate, music, traditional Irish Music & dance classes, youth club, college test prep, computer classes, and a community service program for older youth. The center also provides a variety of programs for its thriving senior community, such as chair yoga, hot lunches, book clubs, and monthly card games. Team Aisling, a running, walking, and well-being community-based club, was established in 2018, further expanding the center's offerings. Beyond its recreational programs, the Aisling Irish Community Center is dedicated to supporting the mental and physical health of its community members. The center offers counseling services from a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and provides a space for weekly AA meetings. Additionally, it hosts frequent mental health workshops and wellness programs. Recognizing the unique needs of newly arrived Irish immigrants, the Aisling Irish Community Center also provides assistance with adjustment, housing, and job searching.
