Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center

The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center is a government organization headquartered at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With over 2,000 employees, the center is a major force in the United States' nuclear weapons program. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center manages and oversees a range of critical nuclear weapons systems and technologies. Its five major execution directorates focus on Air Delivered Capabilities, Minuteman III Systems, Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) Integration, Nuclear Technology and Integration, and Sentinel Systems. The center is responsible for the development, production, maintenance, and deployment of these systems, ensuring their readiness and effectiveness.
