AfterSchool AllStars Los Angeles

AfterSchool AllStars Los Angeles (ASAS-LA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing enriching after-school programs for K-12 students in Los Angeles County. Founded in 2002 by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and with support from Program Ambassador Kobe Bryant, ASAS-LA employs 57 individuals and serves over 17,000 students annually across 45 schools. ASAS-LA offers a variety of programs focused on academic support, health and fitness, visual and performing arts, and youth leadership and community service. These programs aim to reduce drug use, crime, and violence while providing a safe and engaging environment for students during after-school hours. The organization is committed to bringing innovative and cutting-edge programs to deserving communities throughout Los Angeles County. Their programs are designed to positively impact the lives of students and foster their growth and development. ASAS-LA's efforts have been significantly enhanced by the continued support of Kobe Bryant, who has served as Program Ambassador for the past six years.
