Ada Developers Academy

Ada Developers Academy is a non-profit organization based in Seattle, Washington, with a team of 97 employees. Ada Developers Academy provides tuition-free training programs designed to equip women and gender expansive adults with the skills and knowledge to become successful software developers. The academy focuses on serving and empowering Black, Latine, Indigenous Americans, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander, LGBTQIA+, and low-income individuals. Ada’s approach to education emphasizes a collaborative learning environment where students can learn from one another and benefit from individualized support, including mentors, tutors, mental health resources, and affinity groups. The program incorporates an applied learning internship, allowing students to gain real-world experience and apply their skills in practical settings.
