Action St Louis

Action St. Louis is a small grassroots organization based in St. Louis, Missouri. With four employees, Action St. Louis is dedicated to fighting for racial justice and equity in the St. Louis region. The organization works to build political power for Black communities through a variety of strategies, including organizing, communications, advocacy, and direct action. Action St. Louis aims to mitigate harm against Black communities while simultaneously working towards long-term systemic transformation. Action St. Louis was founded in response to the Ferguson Uprisings of 2014 and continues to be driven by a commitment to collective action against systemic racism and state violence. The organization envisions a St. Louis region where Black people are empowered to transform their communities, where every Black life is valued, and where oppressive institutions are dismantled.
