Ackland Art Museum

The Ackland Art Museum is a museum located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It is an academic unit of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and employs 50 people. The Ackland Art Museum houses over 17,000 works of art spanning over 4,500 years, encompassing collections of Asian art, works on paper, European masterworks, twentieth-century and contemporary art, African art, and North Carolina Pottery. The museum offers a diverse range of exhibitions, educational programs, and events for university students, faculty, staff, K-12 students, and the general public.
