AAEA Agricultural Applied Economics Association

The Agricultural & Applied Economics Association (AAEA) is a not-for-profit organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The association is comprised of ten employees and generates $7.5 million in annual revenue. AAEA serves the professional interests of its over 2,600 members who work in agricultural and related fields of applied economics. AAEA members contribute to a variety of teaching, research, and extension/outreach activities. Their work focuses on a range of topics including agricultural economics, international and rural development, resource and environmental concerns, food and consumer issues, and agribusiness. Through its membership and programming, AAEA aims to be a leading organization for advancing professional development and knowledge dissemination within the fields of agricultural, development, environmental, food and consumer, natural resource, regional, rural, and related applied economics and business.
