AACE Venture Fund

AACE Venture Fund is a student-managed angel investment fund located in Columbia, Missouri. Operating as part of the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business, AACE is open to both undergraduate and graduate students from all majors. The fund is comprised of 16 employees. AACE provides hands-on experience in angel and venture capital investing by allowing students to invest real money into high-growth Midwest start-up companies. Students take on roles as Investment Analysts, responsible for tasks such as cultivating deal flow, conducting pre-screening, completing due diligence, structuring and negotiating investment contracts, and monitoring portfolio holdings. AACE has a proven track record of success, having invested approximately $600,000 into 13 promising start-up companies. The fund has achieved a 6.2x MOIC on a partial exit of an investment, demonstrating its ability to generate financial returns.
