A Place To Turn

A Place To Turn is a non-profit organization located in Natick, Massachusetts. The food pantry is a small operation with three employees, but it makes a big impact in the MetroWest community. A Place To Turn's mission is to provide emergency food and clothing to those in need. They serve approximately 2,600 households annually, a total of 8,000 individuals, with 45% of those served being children. The pantry operates as part of a community services network, working through a referral system to ensure their services reach those who need them most. What sets A Place To Turn apart is their commitment to providing a choice-based food pantry experience. Clients are not simply given pre-packaged boxes of food; instead, they are able to select the items they and their families need, enjoy, and will utilize. In addition to non-perishable goods, clients also have access to refrigerated and frozen meat, dairy and produce, and fresh produce through their "Eat Fresh" initiative.
