7th Special Forces Group Airborne

The 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) is an operational unit of the United States Army Special Forces. Situated at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, the group is comprised of 161 employees. The 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) specializes in conducting guerrilla operations and training armed forces of friendly governments in South, Central, and North America, and the Caribbean. They have been involved in crucial missions during the War on Terror, including Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Special Forces units are known for their capability to deploy in small teams, operate independently, and execute their missions in challenging environments. They are experts in seven key missions: Unconventional Warfare, Foreign Internal Defense, Special Reconnaissance, Direct Action, Combating Terrorism, Counter-proliferation, and Information Operations.
