67TH PRECINCT CLERGY COUNCIL

The 67th Precinct Clergy Council, Inc., also known as "The GodSquad," is a faith-based organization based in New York, New York. The organization is comprised of clergy members dedicated to improving community relations and bridging the gap between local residents and law enforcement. The GodSquad strives to lessen neighborhood tensions and foster safer communities through their work. In addition to their local initiatives, the organization established Clergy For Safe Cities (CSC), a national coalition focused on supporting clergy-led efforts to prevent gun violence. CSC provides training and resources to faith leaders across the country, equipping them with effective strategies to address youth involvement in crime and gun violence. To date, CSC has successfully trained 500 faith leaders on best practices and proven models for clergy-based violence prevention.
